(Sadly, I can’t get this working. I thought I had it licked, but no. See comments below.)

Testing process
Let’s try again.
Logged into my Google Apps accunt first, activating both Calendar and Google Music. Then in yet another Firefox 5 tab I logged into my Gmail account and clicked the +Kim link top-left to get here. Seems to work fine.

Time to reboot, after updating some Windows updates.

Restarting/Rebooting sure messes things up. I have to follow the same procedure as above, starting with logging out of all services first. Firefox couldn’t auto-login me to both accounts at the same time. It picked the non-googleapps account.

Added info to the procedure is that you need a “clean” login window for the second google login, which, in my experience, has to be the one you want to use or Google+. You can’t click any links in the already logged in account or type an url manually. All it does then is open that service with your alrady logged in account. Only way out is then to Log Out, which of course makes it impossible to keep both accounts open.

Here’s how you do it.
So easiest way is to open two tabs with a Google login page (https://www.google.com/accounts/Login). Login to your Google Apps info in the first one. Activate/Open tabs with all needed services for Google Apps. Then login to the second account in the clean login tab and well inside click the +You link top-left to come to the Google+ service.

I don’t think you should try to use any other regular Google services, with the risk of conflicting with your Google Apps account.

Google+ inside GoogleApps?
Until Google enables Google+ with GoogleApps accounts, this will be a cumbersome, but functioning, workaround.

From: SANS NewsBites Vol. 13 Num. 54 : US Dept. of Energy Nuclear Labs Targeted in “Sophisticated Cyberattack”; Google Blocks “Spammy” Domain; US ISPs Agree to Copyright Violator Penalty System

–US ISPs Agree to Copyright Violator Penalty System
(July 7, 2011)
Major US Internet service providers (ISPs) have agreed to a system that could allow them to disrupt Internet service for habitual copyright violators. Among the providers participating are Comcast, Time Warner and Verizon. The ISPs will issue warnings at first, but after six violations, the plan calls on the providers to take steps such as reducing Internet speed or redirecting users to “educational” pages about copyright infringement.

The plan does not directly call for cutting off access altogether, although the services may do that if they choose. The agreement has the backing of the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) and the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA).

Critics of the agreement have expressed concern that users’ Internet access could be cut off with no judicial review.

http:www.wired.com/threatlevel/2011/07/disrupting-internet-access/
http:news.cnet.com/8301-31001_3-20077659-261/should-you-fear-new-isp-copyright-enforcers/

[Editor's Note (Pescatore): There are a lot of good societal reasons why
the Internet "pipes" should be cleaner, but "clean" is one of those "you
know it when you see it" kind of issues that societies need to define.
In this case a clear definition of "copyright violation" is needed. A
much easier and more valuable-to-society version of clean pipes would
be for the carriers to routinely block known malware and known address
spoofing and the like.

(Northcutt): I like the focus on moderation, six warnings seems
reasonable.

(Murray): The proof of this pudding will be in the eating. I would like
to think that these procedures are based upon experience with what is
happening and how effective the procedures will be, I think that the
threshold is sufficiently high to avoid false positives.]

(Comments are from editors of the SANS newsletter.)

–Sony Gets OK to Subpoena Information About Visitors to PS3 Jailbreak Site (March 4 & 5, 2011) A US federal magistrate has granted Sony permission to obtain the IP addresses of computer users who visited George Hotz’s website from January 2009 until now. Hotz gained recent notoriety for posting jailbreak code for the Sony PlayStation 3 gaming console to the Internet. The magistrate also granted Sony’s request for subpoenas of Twitter, Google and YouTube to gain information about Hotz’s accounts.

How can it be even remotely possible for a US magistrate to consider being in any position to allow a company to retrieve such information? The laws of USA do NOT have precedence over non-US citizens! The privacy and integrity of non-US citizens is not under any jurisdiction that any legal instance in the USA can decide upon to infringe. This is an outrage! This is government sanctioned corporate hacking to expose to-be-assumed-innocent visitors of a website. I am ashamed that these are adults who decided this was ok.

A boy was watching his grandmother write a letter. At one point he asked:
‘Are you writing a story about what we’ve done? Is it a story about me?’
His grandmother stopped writing her letter and said to her grandson:
I am writing about you, actually, but more important than the words is the pencil I’m using. I hope you will be like this pencil when you grow up.’

…Intrigued, the boy looked at the pencil. It didn’t seem very special.
‘But it’s just like any other pencil I’ve ever seen!’

‘That depends on how you look at things. It has five qualities which, if you manage to hang on them, will make you a person who is always at peace with the world.’

‘First quality: you are capable of great things, but you must never forget that there is a hand guiding your steps. We call that hand God, and He always guides us according to His will.’
‘Second quality: now and then, I have to stop writing and use a sharpner. That makes the pencil suffer a little, but afterwards, he’s much sharper. So you, too, must learn to bear certain pains and sorrows, because they will make you a better person.
‘Third quality: the pencil always allows us to use an eraser to rub out any mistakes. This means that correcting something we did is not necessarily a bad thing; it helps to keep us on the road to justice.’
‘Fourth quality: what really matters in a pencil is not its wooden exterior, but the graphite inside. So always pay attention to what is happening inside you.’
‘Finally, the pencil’s fifth quality: it always leaves a mark. in just the same way, you should know that everything you do in life will leave a mark, so try to be conscious of that in your every action’
